Eleanor L. Tuttle, 81, of Basehor, passed away December 2, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Basehor located at 1410 N. 155th Street, in Basehor, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
Eleanor was born February 20, 1936 in Lawrence, Kansas to Raymond and Lois (Heimer) Godsey. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1954 and married the love of her life, Robin Tuttle, on September 5, 1954. From 1954-1960, Eleanor worked as an executive secretary for Cook Paint and Varnish. From 1965-2016, she worked for Fuller Brush Company; a job she absolutely loved. Eleanor attended First Baptist Church of Basehor and was a volunteer with the PTA and the Basehor Community Library. She was a also a member of the TOPS program.
She is survived by her son, Stephen and his wife Diana of Basehor, Kansas; her brother, Gerald Godsey and his wife LaReta of North Kansas City, Missouri; her sister, Judith Jeffreys of Tampa, Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robin Tuttle; and her parents, Raymond and Lois Godsey.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
