Donna was born on January 29th, 1938 to Charles and Geraldine Harman in Kansas City, Ks. She attended Wyandotte High School and then met the love of her life. Donna married William (Bill) Bileck and they were happily married for 64 years until Bill’s passing in 2020.
Donna most enjoyed being a wife and mother, but did work as a secretary at Parker Elementary School and Walker Manufacturing. The job she probably had the most satisfaction was being the Office Manager at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Donna would often go in and visit with the passed family members to assure them they would be taken care of. In her spare time, Donna loved to spend time with family and friends and travel with close friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Geraldine Harman, her sister Laverne Fontanetti, and her brother Charles Harman.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kathi Parks and her husband Larry, Teri Long and her husband Jerry, and Patti Schons and her husband Steve. Her brother Lee Harman and his wife Colleen of Eugene, Oregon also survive. Donna has 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren who all live in the Kansas City area and Eureka Springs, Arkansas area.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, June 30th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Rosary service starting at 6:00 PM. The visitation will be at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Ks. Burial Service will be on Monday, July 1st at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Ks. A graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery across the street from the Church. A reception to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church at the conclusion of the service.
