Donald Lee Rogers

Donald L. Rogers, 75, Kansas City, Kansas passed away December 15, 2017. A visitation will be from 5-6 PM with a memorial service at 6 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association, 6900 College Blvd., Suite #250, Overland Park, Kansas 66211.

Don was born on July 19, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas to Virginia and Lester Rogers. He served with the United States Army for six years. He retired from Inland Container Packaging. In his spare time, Don enjoyed fishing, camping, driving around the park, spending time at the Kansas Speedway, and anything to do with the outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his dog, Abby.

Don was preceded in passing by his parents; and brother, Richard Rogers.

Don is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judy Rogers; children, Donald Rogers, Jr. (Vickey Copely), Gail Rogers, Kathy Dujakovich, Mona (Derk) Hawks, and Joe Zwosta; and brothers, Warren (Sheralyn) Rogers and Gerry (Sandra) Rogers; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
