David was born on September 4, 1946 in Sabetha, Kansas to Ervin and Alice Stewart. He proudly served this country in the United States Army. After his time in the service, David was united in union to Kandy in 1968. David was a man of many talents, and was a hardworking man. He was a handy man that could build or fix anything. He built his family’s house by hand. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family vacations. He worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad for over forty years before his retirement. At the time of his retirement, he was in the number one spot of seniority in the country. He was a great man who will be dearly missed.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Kandy Stewart; and his parents.
Left to cherish his memory by her sisters, Shirley McDougal and Linda Hay; brother, Fred Fulton; sons, Phillip (Nicole) Stewart and Jason Stewart; grandchildren, Rebekah, Sydney, Samantha, Emma, and Ethan; along with many other family members and dear friends.
