David Mitchell, age 71, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. Born in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Henry and Ruth Mitchell, David moved from Kansas City to Michigan with his wife Rosemarie to continue in his career in the automotive industry. He and his wife Rosemarie traveled the world their entire life, Singapore being one of their favorite adventures. At the time of his passing they were planning their return trip to another favorite spot, Panama. A member of United Methodist Church in Sterling Heights, his faith kept him grounded in remembering to always think of how to help others. Something that David will be remembered for is the way he made a priority to remember everyone's birthday and help others in any small way he could. He had a big heart and smile that would brighten anyone's day. He will be missed dearly by all who survive him.
Beloved husband of 42 and a half years to Rosemeri. Loving brother of Cynthia Mitchell. Also beloved by surviving cousins.
A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, January 15th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. David will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
