Constance "Connie" L. Combs, 64, Edwardsville, Kansas passed away June 1, 2017. Connie was born on June 25, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clyde and Millie Griggs. She graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
Connie enjoyed being around her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved to travel and gamble in her spare time.
Connie was preceded in passing by her husband, David Combs and father, Clyde Griggs; grandchildren, Landon and Jax Janssen.
Survivors include her children, Scott (Deanna) Janssen and Shannon (David) Andrews; mother, Millie Griggs; brothers, Fred (Mary Ann) Griggs and David Griggs; grandchildren, Emilee and Tyler Janssen and Christopher and Annabelle Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, June 9, 2017 with a funeral service at 11AM, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
