Charlie Moore, 79, of Riverside, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at North Kansas City Hospice House. His Memorial Gathering will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 17th at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. The family requests that any contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
Charlie was born July 24, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas and was a lifelong area resident as well as a graduate of Wyandotte High School. He was a Navy Veteran, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, water skiing, and playing both softball & baseball. He Owned and Operated C & W Concrete until he retired in 2005 and was a member of the Cement Finishers Union.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Robin J. Moore of the home; 4 children, Joy Houser of Wichita, Kansas, Carrie Moore and Lisa Arens, both of Kansas City, Missouri, and Jason Moore and his wife Tiffany of Denton, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Candice, Carrissa, Chelsa, Cameron, Logan, Levi, Samantha, Elena, Justin, Chad & Blain; and 2 great-grandchildren, Chaten & Joselyn.
