Charles “Chuck” Cipolla, 75, Kansas City, Kansas passed away July 23, 2018. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1-2 PM, with a celebration of life at 2 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Cremation will take place with urnment at a later date in Gate of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chuck’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Chuck was born on August 9, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated DeLaSalle Military Academy in Missouri in 1960. He met his wife Henrietta in 1957 and married in 1962. Together they had two children and raised them in Kansas City, Kansas. Chuck worked for 39 years at Vile-Goller as a lithographer and retired from there in 2000.
Chuck loved to spend time at the Lake of the Ozarks, where he fished for most of his life. He also enjoyed working in his yard and around his house, cooking and watching KU games, but most of all he was very proud of his family.
Chuck was preceded in passing by his sister, Rose Marie and his beloved schnauzer dog, Maggie.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Henrietta; 2 children, Tony (Gina) Cipolla of Houston, TX and Kelly (Keith) Connor of Kansas City, KS; 5 grandchildren, Noah, Zachary, Charles, Kensie, and Annie; brother, John (Vera) Cipolla of Kansas City, MO; and sister-in-law, Dolores (Dolly) Cigich of Kansas City, Kansas.
