The Piggie Family’s share heart felt condolences to Ms Carter’s Family! You could look up any day and see her at Banneker!  She certainly going to be missed by our Staff and Students! My prayers are extended to the entire family of Ms. Bridget Carter. She was a classmate and dear friend of mine. We went to Northeast Jr High, and Sumner High School together. Graduating in 1979. She called me Brother and I called her Sister. Bridget would ALWAYs text or call me on every hoilday and my birthday.  I will miss that. She had a smile on her face everytime I saw her. Although It saddens my heart to know that she is no longer with us. But family rest assure that her loving spirit will help you all make it in times to come. My prayers and love are

I was so deeply saddened to hear of Bridget passing.  I would always cherish her memories:  She was apart of Sumner High School class of 1979,  I was a friend of the family and a member of the class of 1977 along with her sister Erica Carter and Kevin Carter and their Mother Ms. Carter.  I worked for many years at the University  Of Kansas Medical Center.l, until my retirement.  I would often run into Bridget at Beauty Shop at KU Medical Center where her sister Erica worked while having my Mom hair done.  It was often the Hang out spot!

My Condolences to the Family. I met Bridget she was Beautiful 

My heat is heavy and saddened sine you left this earth. Not only did you leave but you left on my dad’s birthday. I remember us growing up as little girls going to church in Independent Missouri Church of God. We would always talk on the phone the Saturday before and I would tell you to bring purses and we still laughed about that as adults. We went to the same schools, Northeast Junior High School, where we were in Band together and I was the Drum Major. We were in the Orchestra and Drama class together. We went to Sumner High School and shared the same circle of friends. Man we shared so many memories and it hurts to know that our last outing was in 2022 at your home and we had such a good time. I will miss you Sis./Cousin and will keep our family lifted up in prayer. We all need our Savior Jesus Christ and he will give us peace that surpasses all understanding and if we acknowledge him in all our ways, he will direct our path. My deepest condolences to our family.

To the Carter Family, 

I was sadden to hear about the lost of my friend and classmate. 
I met Bridgette in elementary school and we continued our educational journey until high school.  Our encounters have always been full of laughs, hugs and checking on each other's families. 

 Cherish Bridgett's memories and remember her laughter. 
Remember, how she would cut her eyes when you said something she didn't agree with. (smile) 

Family, just  know how much she loved each of you. With our last  conversation, Bridgette talked about her love for her kids and buying gifts for her grandkids.  

Please know God loves each of you and I will continue to lift the family in my prayers.
