Bradley “Brad” Grant Ocamb, Jr of Basehor, Kansas passed away on September 5th 2019 at his home. He was 79 years old. Visitation will be held on September 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Chapel Hill Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral service will be the next morning, September 12th 2019 starting at 10:30 am also at Chapel Hill-Butler. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048.
Brad was born on June 5th, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas to Bradley Sr. and Geraldine Ocamb. Brad was very creative and talented, both can be seen in his incredible craftman ship in his wood carving. He loved reading and was the smartest and funniest man in any room. Brad was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
Bradley is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Ocamb; children, Brad Ocamb III, Debbie Richman, Scott Ocamb, Tracy Roberson and husband Steve, John Saul Jr. and wife Jackie, Travis Ocamb; sister, Cheryl Woolery and husband Don; with eight grandchildren; and his loving dog Sophia; along with other family members and friends.
