Beuilah Mae Reid

Beuilah Mae Reid, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at her residence in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on December 28, 1944, to Johnnie and Vivian Jones. Beuilah grew up in the Kansas City, Kansas area. She was the third oldest of seven children. She accepted Christ at an early age, it followed into adulthood, where she is a proud member of First A.M.E. Church. Presently, under the direction of Pastor Walser.

She was employed by The Kansas Department of Transportation for 30+ years until retirement. In retirement, Beuilah enjoyed every moment to the fullest. By relaxing and traveling. It was never a dull moment with Beuilah. She is a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Beuilah was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Vivian Jones; Siblings, Lemoyne Jones, Jonether Walker (Pete Walker) and Evon Jones.

Beuilah is survived by her daughter, Henrietta “Hen” Davis-Rivas; her two grandchildren, Angel Rivas and Vincent Rivas; her siblings, Cleophas (Juanita) Jones, Melvin (Sylvia) Jones, James Timothy Jones, sister-in-law Dixie Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
