Betty L. Lowe

Betty Lou Lowe, 71, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away January 2, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home.

Betty enjoyed crocheting, embrodering and reading and was an Elvis fan. She had worked for the Pharmacy at Providence Medical Center. With her husband, they moved and pastored to families throughout Kansas City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years: Pastor Melvin Lee Lowe; brothers: Frank, Arthur, David and Gary Park; and sisters: Margie Gordon and Mary Jane Williams.

Betty is survived by brothers: William Park and his wife Beverly of Shawnee, Kansas and Terry Park of Topeka, Kansas; children: Roger Anderson and his wife Jacquie of Americus, Kansas, Lee Lowe and his wife Cathy of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Julie Daniels and her husband Dwayne of Tonganoxie, Kansas, & Denise Porter and her husband Phillip of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren: Jarod Anderson and wife Laura, Mindy Grossenbacher and husband Nathan Sr., Cory Anderson, Brett Lowe and wife Davina, Ryan Lowe and wife Kelleigh, Joshua Lowe and wife Casey, Erick Lowe, Brendon Biron, Morgan Arms, Adrienne Arms and Kyle Arms; great grand children: Ethan, Sean, Kaitlyn & Nathaniel Anderson, Nathan Grossenbacher Jr., Sophya Anderson and Aden, Emileigh & Cadence Lowe; and many relatives and friends.
