Barbara M. Story, 76, died on Saturday, April 6, 2024 peacefully at home with her husband of 56 years. Barbara was the youngest daughter of Tom and Molly Mullin, born on April 26, 1947 in Haydock, England where she lived with her parents and older sister, Sheila, until she met and married the love of her life, Jim, at the EM Club at Burtonwood Base in Warrington, England.
Barbara moved to Kansas City, Kansas with Jim in early 1968 and resided in KCK the remainder of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Molly Mullin, her sister, Sheila Critchley and brother-in-law, Gerard Critchley, Haydock, England.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Jim Story, daughter, Becky Story, grandchildren, Fallon Thompson, Sidney Smith (Eric), Madison Thompson, Tyler Thompson and great-grandchildren, Tyson Taylor, Leonidas Smith, Ares Smith and Tru Castaneda, nephew, Damon Critchley (Wendy), niece, Deborah Bate (Alec) and their families.
