Anna DeWitt, 97, Leavenworth, Kansas passed away December 2, 2021. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, with a funeral service at 11 AM, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will be immediately following in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
Anna was born on June 2, 1924 in Hallowelle, Kansas to Fred and Elsie (Dobbins) George.
Her pastimes included fishing, quilting, playing the penny slots at casinos, cheering on her Chiefs and Royals, but mostly spending time with her family.
Anna was preceded in passing by her husband, Ralph DeWitt.
Survivors include her children, Gloria Quackenbush, Janice (Gene) Anderson and Gary (Brenda) DeWitt; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and extended family.
