Margaret Y. Y. Wong, age 70, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. A chapel service for Margaret will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Funeral Services, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744. Following the chapel service will be a burial from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744.

Margaret was born and raised in Hong Kong and her family moved to Hawaii in 1959. She attended Hawaii Baptist Academy and majored in Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawaii. Her career in the travel industry started with Holiday Tours of Hawaii where she was one of the original Pleasant Hawaiian Holiday team, doing briefings and managing staff. She has 18 years of management experience in the travel industry as Regional Director of Operations and General Managers for several large corporate and incentive travel companies. She left the travel industry to specialize in the group medical insurance and financial planning market in 1993.

Margaret joined the Copeland Insurance Group in 2010 as their Sales and Marketing Director - assisting seniors in understanding how to select a Medicare Plan option that will meet their needs and budgets.

Margaret was also a devoted Christian, volunteering and sharing her gifts with New Hope Oahu, Malama ministry.
