Ke’alohilani Yanito-Duncan, 12, was called to heaven on September 13, 2024. True to her warrior spirit, she gave us 12 wonderful years of nothing but unconditional love. She is already tremendously missed by surviving members of the family including her Father and Mother, Donald and Anakalia Yanito-Duncan, her brother, Kahiau Yanito-Duncan, and her sister, Kai’auiokalani Yanito-Duncan. She is also survived by her Grandmother, Andrea Kualapai, Grandfather, Don J. Yanito, Great-Grandparents, Don T. and Cathy Yanito, her Uncles, Adam L. Duncan III, Chad Duncan, Peter Kualapai, Blake Yanito as well as many Aunties, Cousins and more Uncles. Ke’alohilani was greeted in heaven by her Great-Grandparents and other relatives who predeceased her.
Ke’alohilani loved her family and friends and fought hard every single day. With all odds stacked against her, she managed to overcome many obstacles. She traveled the country from North Dakota to Washington D.C. to Arizona and many states in between. She loved traveling, watching movies, and playing with her siblings.
Her fighting spirit, sassiness, beautiful smiles, quiet strength and infectious laughter will be dearly missed.
A private service will be held by all her loved ones.
