Papa & I ❤️ 
I miss his our talks, I loved talking with my papa…I can still hear his voice and his laugh.

I think what was even more special about this place is that this is where my papa grew up so for his kids, grandkids, great- grandkids and his whole family to be there hanging out was the best. 

Papa always loved taking us out camping and boating. He wanted us to have fun and even though it was so much work to set up and get going he did it for us all the time.

I remember he had a life jacket for all of us to make sure we were safe, and if there wasn’t enough at the time he’d tell the next group he’ll come back for them and they can take the next boat out. 

  He is such a special person and will always remain close to my heart. 
I have so many stories about this great papa of mines that I will cherish and hold dear to my heart. 

Some days I don’t understand why he had to go home so early but then I remind myself how he’s resting now and no longer in pain. I already know he’s building that big house for himself and family. Always thinking of ways to help his family no matter what it took. 

I will forever miss and love you my papa. thank you for all the memories and we will meet again one day🕊️🤍🙏🏼

He was the best papa, this is my papa after setting up a tent upstairs on there deck for the kids to have a sleepover/ camp out and s’mores night! We will miss you so much papa! May you rest peacefully

Chris was a Wonderful Husband to myself Cathy Lynn Young for almost 53 yrs. He was an Amazing Dad to Our 4 Children, Cristal Garan (Ainsley), Chris Jr. (Candy), Corie, & Isaac (Brandee) And Super Papa of 13 , Chelsea Makekau (Kaumoana), Chantel, Chris III, Colby, Christy, Cheylee, Carly, Taylor-Ley Garan, Preston Smythe-Young, Iliana, Milena, Anuhea, Iakepa Weston. And the Best Great Grandpapa of 9, Hokulele, Lehuanani, Kaumoana, Navea, Delilah, & Anela-Kiwaha Makekau & Isaiah, Valerie, & Ocean Ho. Lots of aunties, Uncles, nieces & Nephews. And many Friends. 
Chris was a very hard & dedicated worker who during his life time worked as a Roofer, Ironworker Local 625, Welder, & Glaizer. 
Chris enjoyed his Family, Friends & People in General. He was always looking to help others. Always wanted to fix something, or help someone do or get through whatever they needed to get through or get done. 
He Loved being on his boat on Kaneohe bay.
Loved camping, spending family time was always so important . 
We are missing him more than alot during this time. Knowing he’s with Jesus makes it so much better! Thank You Jesus!
