Roy was known for his sunny disposition, his response when asked “How are you doing?” was always “First Class!”. Roy enjoyed a full and long life, he was always positive and made the most of every opportunity with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes.
Roy is predeceased by his first wife of 53 years, Irene Ethel Baillargeon (nee Brooks) in 2004. He is survived by his five children: Joanne Riordan (Duane), Donna Twentyman (Greg), Debra Davies (Brad), Glen Baillargeon (Lisa) and Liana Lundrigan (Rod); 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also mourning his loss is Roy’s second wife Doreen Beverly Baillargeon and her children Dana Paterson (Shelly) and Brian Paterson. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and Roy’s very dear friend for the last 80 years, Jim Ashby.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Kamloops Senior Village both on the Assisted Living and 2B Residential Care for the love and care provided to Roy and Doreen for the past 10 years. We would also like to express a special thank-you to his nurse Bridget and Dr. Wynne.
