July 24, 1980 - Febuary 4, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Julsrud Morrison, "Robbie". He passed away on February 4, 2024, at the young age of 43, in his hometown of Kamloops, BC. Born to William and Lee Morrison on July 24, 1980, in the same city he would call home for the majority of his life.
Robbie was a graduate of Norkam Secondary School, where he was on the honor roll. He pursued his passion for cooking while working at Foresters and other various venues. He later worked in the residential and industrial fencing industry throughout BC and Alberta, taking pride in the work he did. Above all, he was most proud of his children, who were his greatest accomplishments. He loved cars (especially his Camaro), off-roading, dirt biking, snowmobiling, writing, going for walks, dogs, and spending time with his friends and family.
Robbie's family remembers him as a hard worker, someone who would always lend a hand, go out of his way for anyone in need, and as generous, caring, funny, and thoughtful. He leaves behind memories of love, laughter, and mayhem. We will miss him every day.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lee; grandparents, George and Ruth Schramm; and grandparents, Stewart and Margaret Morrison. He is survived by his children, Alyssa “Cam” and Kayden; his father, Bill; brother, Billy (Donna); nephews, Dylan and Josh; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and family.
A celebration of life - a come-and-go open house will be held at 4569 Spurraway Rd on April 27, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
