With great sadness, we wish to announce the sudden passing of Gordon Douglas Lucas on October 18th, 2021, at his home in McLure, B.C. Gord was born in Chilliwack on July 12th, 1954. He leaves behind his loving wife Evelyn, sons Chris (Shelese) and Dan (Nicole), and grandchildren Jordyn, Josi and Zachery. Gord will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, his love of computers, his green thumb and his very loving family.
Gord was an electrician with the IBEW 993. He was passionate about music, fishing, and his willingness to always help others.
A celebration of life to honour Gord will be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Gord's name to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
