Gary Nicholas Demchuk

December 24, 1954 - May 21, 2021

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my stepfather, Gary Demchuk in Kamloops, BC on Friday, May 21, 2021.

Gary was married to my Mother, Carol Demchuk, who passed October 21, 2015, for 31 years and together for a total of 37 years. He was the only father I knew, and it is a sadness that will linger. However, I know he is incredibly happy to be reunited with my Mother in heaven. Gary had recently found religion and had asked for forgiveness which allowed him to hold onto the belief and happiness that he would be with the only love he had known in his lifetime, his beloved Susie, as he called her.

Gary is survived by his sister Judy Klassen (Demchuk), his brother Larry and wife, Helen, several nieces, and nephews, and me, his daughter, Jeannie Reid. Also, his extended family, his friends: Norma, Bob, Daryll, Gerry, Bob, Linda, Barbie, Jeff, Deb, Michael, and more.

He joins his parents, Paul, and Mary Demchuk, as well as his sister Evelyn Martin.

There will be no funeral services, however his ashes will be scattered at Tea Lake this summer. Please contact me should you want to join us.

I'm certain that Gary and Mom have been in an embrace since they were reunited and are once again, whole.
