Keanu Rivera

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keanu Rivera, who left us on April 4, 2025, at his home. Born on February 15, 1995, Keanu was a vibrant soul whose presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.

Keanu is survived by his loving parents, Rashell Rivera and Felipe De Jesus Arenas-Rivera, and his cherished son, Kainoa Rivera, who will be lovingly cared for by his devoted mother, Lauren Rios. He leaves behind his siblings, Kayla Cameron, Jake Rivera, Keven Rivera, and Alicia Gaoiran, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

He is also survived by his beloved grandmother, Margaret Tobita, and his Aunty Cindy Cameron and Uncle David Tobita, who will remember him with love and fondness.

Described by his family as a "walking Google," Keanu had an incredible wealth of knowledge and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His passion for mechanics was evident in his love for working on cars, where he found joy in fixing and creating. Keanu's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when he built a food truck from a simple trailer, transforming it into a delightful shave ice truck that brought happiness to many.

Though his time with us was far too short, Keanu's impact on our lives will be felt forever. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Keanu's life will be held on May 5, 2025, at Ballard Family Mortuary from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Keanu to join us as we honor his memory and share in the love he brought into our lives. A luncheon will follow the service.
