George retired from the United States Postal Service as a Post Master on Lanai.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului; service to begin at 10:00 a.m.; burial will follow at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao at 1:00 p.m.
George is survived by wife, Agnes Romena; son, Gregory Romena; daughter, April (Raymond) Taylor; sisters, Anita Romena, Jackie (Jr.) Balberdi; brothers, Loren (Maile) Romena, William (Rachel) Romena; granddaughter, Nathania Hotta and great grandchild, Jordan K.B.; predeceased by, brother Clemente Romena; parents- (Father) Evaristo Romena, (Mother) Josefa Romena.
