William Walter Schroeder

Bill had a passion for business until his last breath, still owning several companies and communicating with partners and managers almost daily. A graduate of Wells High School in Wells, MN and the University of Minnesota where Bill was a member of the FFA. Bill has owned and operated many food industry companies as well as some corrugated box companies. Bill went on later in life to earn a degree from Harvard Business School. As an Entrepreneur he loved the thrill and challenge of starting a new business or buying a struggling business that he could rebuild and sell. Bill was passionate about business and loved to help advise and guide those that were ready to step into the business world. This was evident when he became one of the founding members and first President of the CEO group in Vineland, NJ where he lived for many years while raising his children with his high school sweetheart Nadine (Fox) Schroeder and building his empire. Moving to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in the early 1990’s and eventually to Jupiter, Florida allowed him to relax and enjoy Gold on almost a daily basis. When not buying, selling or running a business Bill could be found golfing, watching his beloved Minnesota Vikings, traveling, walking his dogs or simply having a glass of Chardonnay while enjoying a good meal.

Bill was a family man and always wanted his family to strive to be the best, but if there were hard times he was always there to help and lend a hand. Family vacations and being together were important to him right up to his last breath.

Bill is survived by his son William Jr. of St. Paul, MN, daughter Nina(Chris Lillia) of Vineland, NJ, son Jeret (Rocio) of Jupiter, FL and son David(Lisa) also of Jupiter, Fl. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren Nicholas Rothman, Heather Rothman, Andrew Rothman, David & Luke Schroeder and Andrew & Liam Schroeder plus 8 great grandchildren, his one true love Nadine, Brother Donald (Linda), sister Shirley Holtzman, many nieces, nephews and close dear friends.

A graveside service will be held January 24, 2025 at 12:00pm at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Burnsville, MN. A Celebration of Life will be held in Jupiter, FL in February.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Special Olympics an organization that was important to Bill as his son William Jr. has been a participant for years.
