Vinny was my first best friend. We shared action movies, Eddie Murphy comedies, and Mad Magazine -- we were probably too young for all of these, but that's what made them fun for us. We drifted apart before we became teenagers, but Vinny reached out to me a few years ago on Facebook, and I'm grateful for the messages we exchanged. I'll always remember our friendship, and I'm deeply sorry for his loss, much too soon.

I worked with Vinny in the early 2000's, he was one of a kind, leaving me with a lasting impression, many good memories and a love of techno music.  After suddenly thinking about him a lot, I was compelled to look him up and that's when I found this.  I can honestly say Vinny, your spirit was strong, sending shock waves clear across the country to NY. Rest in Peace Vinny

SCOOOOOOOOOTbaGOOOOOOOOOOOT!! I wish you a Happy Birthday week up in Heaven* It's been about 4 weeks since your passing, my heart breaks and I'm still in disbelief, you left us too soon.  

What I would do to give you an enormous hug, play some music  and dance with you again. I found some mixes you made me and have been listening to the 'deep vocal house' one, especially SADE's 'love is stronger than pride'..I miss you like crazy. 

As you posted years ago while in Italy during my wedding, "Me and my angel," I ask you to please be My Angel now..

Guide me to continue to fulfill my dreams with Flavich, Flavio. You will always be in my ❤ heart. I love you Cenz!

My brother, Vinny

I'm usually told I have a way with words, but for the first time in my life, I have been struggling with how and what to say that would do justice to represent my brother today. Although you truly cannot put Vinny into a box and summarize his character in a simple frase, I will do my best to shed light on the beautiful person he was during our lives together. 

Cenz, as I liked to call him, was the first one born in the family and the only boy for a long time...he was a devoted son, a lovable nephew, grandson, cousin, uncle and brother-in-law, a selfless friend....  and to me and my sisters, our big brother. Yes, we had our typical childhood fights and we certainly didn't see eye to eye through our teenage years... but as we grew into adulthood my brother and I built a strong bond and became closer than ever. In recent years, We spent a good amount of time together and had some deep conversations. As many of you know, Vinny was a very complex person. He was compassionate, generous and kind. He always wanted to see those around him happy and would do anything to make us laugh. He felt most at ease when the music was playing and we were all dancing around him. 

I know Vinny loved us all very much.  He wanted to make us proud and never realized that we already were. I would tell him repeatedly how proud I was to call him my big brother. He didn't need a college degree or a professional title... I was always proud of the gentleman he was and the beautiful heart he had inside. I knew he would be a loving Godfather to my daughter, which he proved to always be. They played and laughed for hours at a time, and I'm thankful for these memories. 

While listening to many of you talk about him, one phrase resounds in my ears: Vincent was and had a beautiful soul. He never wanted to hurt anyone; he just wanted peace. Unfortunately, he couldn't find his own peace within. 

None of us got a goodbye, and many of us were disconnected from him while he tried to work on himself. He wanted to be able to share good news with us all.... and again, one day, make us proud. I speak for many when I say a part of me is missing now. My only solace is he is now at peace and his struggles are finally over. And I'm comforted in knowing he is embraced by our Mom up above. 

I'm deeply saddened for my father who stopped at nothing to help Vinny succeed. It became his life mission. He never gave up on him - and I know, Dad, that Vinny looked up to you and wanted to be just like you. You were his best friend and first idol.  You are an incredible father and we all very blessed to have you.

I believe God has a plan for us all. Not sure why Vinny had to go so soon, but I have faith that we will one day be reunited with an epic dance party in heaven. Let's go today in love and peace and remember life is short, let's cherish those around us in Vinny's memory.

Vin, The day I found out you were gone it too felt like my heart stopped.  We had just been video chatting a few nights prior and I was lucky enough to have you in my life again.  Even though you were in Florida and I was still in NY we made a pact that if we were both still single by 40 we would tie the knot lol....There is so much I could say...Everyday a new memory of you pops into my head and makes me laugh, you were one of a kind and my heart goes out to your family during the difficult time.  I love and miss you so much.
