89, of Hobe Sound passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 17, 2010. Tom served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was the first volunteer fireman for the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Department serving as Treasurer for 25 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 50 years serving twice as Grand Knight. Tom was the Head Usher at St. Ignatius Loyola for 28 years. He retired from Pratt Whitney after 42 years of service.
Preceded in death by his first wife Louise Mulready Donnelly. Survived by his loving wife Rosemary of 21 years; children Katherine Donnelly-Schreiber and husband Robert Dummett, Gail Ray and husband Michael, Susan Blackburn, James Wilkinson and wife Christine, Lynne Hagibes and husband Steven, Mary Wilkinson; grandchildren Christopher Schreiber and wife Tausha, Jennifer Schreiber, Michael and Matthew Ray; 16 additional grand children and great grandchildren; siblings Esther and Frank Donnelly. Also survived by his two care givers Rose Knox and Marcia Viner and we wish to thank them for their loving care they gave to him.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 21st 2-4PM and 5-7PM, Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 22nd at 10AM, St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 9999 Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, burial to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery. Reception at the Knights of Columbus, Palm Beach Gardens following burial.
