Sadie L. Tennant

Sadie Lorain Tennant, 89, was born on October 26, 1930 in Grant Town, West Virginia and died on December 14, 2019 in Windermere, Florida. Sadie graduated from Fairview High School and then went on to marry Bill Tennant in 1950 and was married for 48 years. She was an engineering aide for Pratt Whitney for 25 years until she retired. Sadie taught and hosted Bible study, was an avid reader, very much into aerospace and the fighter jet engines, she always wanted to go to Mars. Sadie was a member at various Church of Christs. She loved and adored her great granddaughter and family dearly. She was a resident of West Virginia, Ohio, California, Michigan and Florida. Sadie is survived by her brother, Butch Ice, granddaughter, Catherine (Chris) Johnson, great granddaughter, Audrey Johnson, nieces, Trina Wright, Becky (Keith) Kelly and several great nieces and nephews. Sadie is predeceased by her husband, Bill, daughters, Deborah Tennant and Cathy Seay and sister Twyla Wright. All memorial donations please make to Mount Dora Children’s Home in Mount Dora, FL.
