I always told Roger that I could tell when he was in the building (at the U.S. Department of State) because the testosterone levels would suddenly shoot through the roof.  He was quite a man and I'm so happy to have known him.  We need more people like him.

Roger was a larger than life character -- warm, funny, and incredibly committed to getting the job done right.  We went from colleagues to friends in no time.  Roger didn't stand on ceremony and said what he thought -- all based on his years of experience and lack of patience with bureaucracy.  What a man!

Roger was one of the most unique people I have ever encountered.He was warm and friendly and a pleasure to talk with.The stories he told me about his life and his father will live with me always.I always sensed a man who whould do anything for family and friend an woe be unto anyone who would harm them or Country...You shall be missed Sir.It is MY honor to have known You...Rest Easy

I met Roger when he worked in construction in St. Croix.  I thoroughly enjoyed the business relationship we had.  Straight and no-nonsense when it came to business, but a great sense of humor, and the most interesting stories. I will really miss Roger.

Roger was a unique indivisual.  We first met in Tirrana, Albania where we were both working at the US Embassy.  Having both been paratroopers, we bonded immediately.  Roger and I had different political beliefs which we argured back and forth, sometimes with vigor.  Acutally, we used to bait each other in the hope that we could start an argument.  We both enjoyed it. 

My days were nevefr complet unless I had sepnt some time with Roger solving the woes of the world. 

The military had a unique way of evaluating a fellow trooper - would you want that trooper in the next foxhole; somebody who you utterly depended on, someone who would never cut and run?  I can think of no man I would rather want in the next foxhole than Roger Currier. 

RIP my friend,  You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
