Former Professional Skateboarder (80's-90's), conquered his last Half-pipe unexpectedly, landing gently into the loving arms of Our Holy Father, July 29, 2024, with his family gathered to support him during his last run. Born in Ridley Park, PA, moved with family to Palm Beach Gardens when he was a baby.
Always loved trips to Disney World as a child with his mom (Mildred) and dad {Angelo Sr.). Tried his hand in many sports; t-ball, football, a Dolphins and Noles fan and was won over by Skateboarding, riding Half-pipes by age 10. Attending Eisenhower Elementary, in Gardens and Jupiter High, joining JROTC, Graduating from Martin Co. High in 87' due to a last minute family move continuing education in Culinary Tech. He enjoyed traveling most of the United States on skateboard tours, living for a minute in California and Tampa, FL., made small appearances in Skatingboarding Magazines. An avid video gamer and sports memorabilia collector, leading to joint owner of Sportscardworld with his dad {since closed 20 yrs. ago).
Jammed a variety of music from metal, punk, new wave. Supported local bands, also attended concerts at "The Lyric", being every social, chilled with "L.W. Flea Market" community and Northlake Blvd area crew. There was not a place he would go where he would not see someone he knew from the present or past. In his spare time, relaxed fishing, snorkeling, watching football, Olympics, X-Games Skateboarding, baseball: Cardinals, Hammerheads, Marlins attending Roger Dean Knothole Gang games with his son's. Adoring husband, met his dedicated wife Deanna of 20 yrs through a friend on a sports website at the start of the internet craze.
Proud and loving father to his two son's. Loved spending time with them exploring the woods, sea-life, LEGOLAND, Orlando, family vacations and reunions. Survived by, wife Deanna, son's Sebastian and Holston, his siblings, sister Lucy (Tom Deceased), brother Angelo Jr. (Debbie) and brother John and sister-in-law Lisa and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by Angelo Sr. (dad), Mildred (mom), Tom Foy Sr. (Uncle), Mark Sr.(brother), Dawn(sister-in-law) Matt and Mark Jr. (nephew's), Taylor Foy (niece), Francis Hamelin Sr.(father-in-law), Kathleen Hamelin (sister-in-law) and beloved dog Red and Obi Wan BunObi Bunny.
To honor Rob's memory, visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 9:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. The Committal Service will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
