Of Tequesta, Fl was born on June 28, 1930 in Abington, PA. He passed away on July 31, 2012. Peter was the son of Peter J. Halligan of Ballymakenny, County Louth, Ireland and Mary McStravick Halligan of Glasgow, Scotland.
He is survived by wife Nancy Driesbach Halligan; his children Kathleen Fricke, Peter, Terrence, and Joan Roush as well as seven grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Alice Mengel, Agnes Manning, Eileen Seeber, and brother Thomas. One sister, Theresa (Sister Marie Philip) predeceased Peter.
Peter was an avid golfer, having been a member at Turtle Creek Club of Tequesta, FL, Manufacturers Golf and Country Club of Fort Washington, PA and Wildwood Golf and Country Club in NJ. Peter enjoyed politics at all levels and, as an ultra-conservative, advocated maximum individual freedom and limited government.
