Paul graduated from Williamsport High School. He went on to attend Johns Hopkins University in 1969, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Paul married Rosamond “Rose” Ballesteros on June 6, 1959 in Baltimore, MD and together they shared 55 years of marriage before her death in 2014. His employment included, Senior Layout Draftsman for Bendix Radio Division of the Bendix Corp, in Towson, MD from 1954-1962, Senior Engineer for the AAI Corp. in Cockeysville, MD from 1962-1970, Mechanical Engineer, Drafting Manager and Quality Assurance Manager for Industrial Nucleonic Corp. (Accuracy) in Columbus, OH from 1970-1979, Manufacturing Engineering Manager for D.A.B. Industries in Bellefontaine, OH from 1979-1980, Manager of Engineering for Bohn Aluminum & Brass Div., Gulf and Westering Mfg. Co. in Greensburg, IN from 1980-1985, CIM Industry Specialist for Gulf & Western MFG Co., CIM Industry Specialist for IBM Corp. in Fort Wayne, IN from 1985-1991, owner of PEW Consulting Services in Fort Wayne, IN from 1991-1998, General Manager of Strataflo Products for Mahoney Tool Co in Fort Wayne, IN from 1994-1998 and Product Design Manager for Tenneco Automotive Walker Div. in Grass Lake, MI from 1998-2001.
Paul enjoyed golf and loved to play and worked at various golf courses after his retirement. He built remote control model airplanes and was an active member of the 4-H Club for 9 years of his youth.
He is survived by two sons, Martin “Marty” Wright and Michael “Mike” Wright; two daughters, Maria Carpenter and Theresa Wright; daughter-in-laws, Amy and Kristina Wright; son-in-law, Larry Tepper; and five grandchildren, Peter, Tessa, Aubrey, Emma and Jared.
