Margaret "Peggy" Elaine Pearce

Peggy Pearce, born Margaret Elaine Banks on July 19, 1950, was the daughter of the late George and Alice Banks and the wife of the late William (Bill) Pearce. Peggy passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024 at the age of 73.

In her early years, Peggy attended North Miami High School and spent much of her free time at the beach. She loved spending time surfing and being near the water. Her biggest joys came from spending time with family. Whether it was going on vacations, celebrating holidays, special events, birthdays, just about any reason to get together, Peggy planned and looked forward to being there. Spending hours preparing hundreds of special family recipe meatballs at Christmas, to the countless cookies spread out on her countertops for the upcoming family gatherings, that was Peggy.

She is survived by her three children, Duane Seymen (wife, Marietta) of North Palm Beach, Florida, Erica Ellis (husband Mike) of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Greg Banks (wife, Samantha) of Austin Texas; cherished and loved by her siblings, Ann Girling (husband, Dave), Jeanne Smith (husband, Eddie) and Thomas Banks (wife, Muriel); dedicated and doting grandma Layla to Alberto, Lliam, Dom, Kai, and Lua and fun loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and extended family.

As a lady that liked a good get-together, Peggy wished to have a celebration of life. She would love to be remembered with funny, strange, and silly stories along with her favorite foods that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life.
