Lisa Marie D’Ambrosio Wallick, 62, of Fairfield, CT and Jupiter, FL, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.
Born on October 22, 1962, in Fairfield, Lisa was the daughter of Donna Hyland D’Ambrosio and Nicolandrea D’Ambrosio. She began her lifelong career in the coffee business at her parents’ local shop, Doughnut Inn—a name she proudly gave the business after its first location. Lisa went on to run her own successful franchise in Fairfield for decades, and in 2022, she and her brother Gino opened Hyland Coffee, a new venture named in honor of their mother.
Lisa was known for her warmth, generosity, and love of life. She enjoyed traveling—especially to Italy—and treasured hosting family and friends for holidays, dinners, and game nights. She found joy in cooking, sharing good wine and conversation, and creating memories with the people she loved most.
In recent years, Lisa’s greatest joy was her granddaughter, Lillian Healy, born in 2022. Becoming a grandmother was the highlight of her life. She adored spending time with Lilly, taking walks, and relaxing by the pool together.
Lisa is survived by her son, Jake Healy (Mia), and her beloved granddaughter, Lillian; her parents, Donna and Nicolandreo D’Ambrosio; her longtime partner, John Russo; and her siblings, Gino D’Ambrosio (Roxann, d. 2021), Christopher D’Ambrosio (Kristine), Nicholas D’Ambrosio (Kathryn), and Jonathan D’Ambrosio. She also leaves behind her nephews, Chris, Alex, and Nathaniel, along with many extended family members and lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Family Church, Jupiter, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lisa’s memory to The Sari Center, which provides support to cancer patients: https://saricenter.networkforgood.com/projects/69290-support-cancer-patients
