97, of Palm Beach Gardens passed away on February 15, 2017. Jack proudly served his country as a US Air Force instructor and fighter pilot during WWII , and for 30 years in the Reserves, where he retired as a Lt. Colonel. Jack worked for the New York City Police Dept, retiring as a Lt. Detective. He went on to start Sentry Armored Car Company in the Bronx, the largest independent armored car company in NYC at that time. He became an accomplished author, writing the book "Injustice" which chronicled the $11.4 million heist at Sentry and his time as a Police Lt. Detective with the NYC Police Dept. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Marian, of 73 ½ years, daughters Elaine, Patricia, Noreen, and June; 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 24th from 2-5 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 25th at 11 am, St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach. Entombment will be at 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Pompano Beach.
