He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. Bianco and Johanna Frank Bianco.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Cooke of Jupiter, FL and his son, John T. (Helen) Bianco of Virginia Beach, VA and 3 grandchildren, Thomas, Jack and Julia. He also is survived by his stepchildren and step grandchildren who all cherished him: Mimi (David) Schmidt of Arlington, VA and her children, Ethan Schmidt and Natalie Schmidt; Michael (Lisa) McClain of Huntington Beach, CA and his children, Logan McClain and Brynn McClain; Cathy (Sam) Bacon and her children Douglas S. Bacon IV, William Bacon and Caroline Bacon.
Other surviving family members were his cousins who he considered his siblings since he was an only child. The remaining cousins are: James (Julie Larsen) Forbes of Del Mar, CA; Jane Bianco (Brian) Mazzitelli of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Linda (Bianco) Vance of Roanoke, VA; Jan Bianco of Bridgeport, CT, Nancy (Rolf) Lehmann of Neckar, Germany; and Judy (Bianco) Wangerin of Carlsbad, CA.
John retired from the U.S. Navy as a Captain after 28 years of service and lived in Annapolis, MD owning a bed and breakfast and working for the Navy as a Chemical Engineer subcontractor inspecting naval ships. John finally retired and decided that “Every Day was a Saturday”. John and Chris moved to Jupiter, FL in 2012, and he enjoyed life to the fullest until his death.
He will be buried in Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY with his parents and extended family, at a later date. His Celebration of Life will be held December 8th, 2020 at the Aycock Funeral Home in Jupiter, FL, from 4 pm to 7 pm. There will be a champagne toast to John at 6:30pm.

John will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, loyal friend, distinguished Naval Officer, veteran and proud patriot. God Speed John, we have the watch!
