Joan McCabe

78, of Jupiter, Florida passed away on March 11, 2012 at Jupiter Pavilion.

Joan was a passionate Educator who enjoyed her 44 years of service, first for the New York City Board of Education and then for the Broward County School District in Florida. She enjoyed her many years as a high school English teacher, a Curriculum Developer and then continued out the rest of her career in Educational TV. During her retirement she served on the Board of Directors at her condominium in Palm Beach Gardens. Joan was a world traveler who loved life and experiencing adventures wherever she went. Joan was a true lover of animals and shared her home with her adoring cats.

Her survivors include cousins, godchildren and many friends. She was a wonderful person who will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14th from 4-8 PM, Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 15th at 10 AM, The Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens.
