James P Rusnak

73, of Hobe Sound passed away on March 7, 2013.

Mr. Rusnak was born in Ft. Dodge, IA and attended Iowa State University and the Indiana Institute of Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and was an Engineer at Pratt & Whitney for 34 years. He was an active member of St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Hobe Sound where he attended daily Mass. Mr. Rusnak was an avid golfer and bass fisherman who treasured time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Mary Rusnak, daughter; Laura Mahoney (Terry) of Marietta, GA, sons; Michael Rusnak (Cathy) of Chevy Chase, MD, and Gregory Rusnak (Dawn) of Lexington, MA, grandchildren; Christopher, Andrea and Tyler Mahoney of Marietta, GA, Michael, R.J. and Elizabeth Rusnak of Chevy Chase, MD and Danielle and Joseph Rusnak of Lexington, MA, brothers; Jack Rusnak of Boone IA, Jerry Rusnak of Ft. Smith, AK and sister; Marikay Fisher of Boone, IA. Mr. Rusnak was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Kathryn Rusnak and his sister Marilyn Rusnak. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center in Jupiter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11 AM at St Christopher’s Catholic Church in Hobe Sound, FL. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the cancer center at Good Samaritan Hospital or Hospice of Palm Beach County.
