Frank Richard Snyder, 92 years old of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 17th 2023 at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, surrounded by all of the angels that loved and cared for him. He was in his lighthouse facing room, number 553 in the Tansky Concierge Suites at Jupiter Hospital.
Frank was born on April 14, 1931 in Staten Island, New York. The only child of the late Alton and Ruth Snyder. Frank attended Military School & served in the United States Army. Frank worked for a private chemical company in New Jersey that specialized in chemicals sold to automotive assembly plants throughout the country. He later on became the President of that company. After the company was sold to a major chemical company listed on the New York stock exchange, Frank retired to Lighthouse Point, Florida. He married the love of his life, Marlene Richter on September 8,1985 and gained his beautiful step daughter, Jo-Ellen who predeceased him, as well as his wonderful step son, Mark Richter. They settled at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Frank's greatest attribute was his smile, no matter who you were, you were greeted by his big blue eyes and a smile that would instantly capture your heart.
He was deeply loved and cared for for many years by the daughters of his heart, Melissa Holmes and Teresa Nieves. He had many other wonderful caregivers, Alicia, Patricia, Nadine, Sherry-Kay, Margaret, Deyon, Diana, Jeannie, and Everette; his Physical Therapist, Kevin, & his home nurses, Jesus & Yari. There were many amazing staff members from Jupiter Hospital that also cared for and loved Frank. He was very grateful for all of them. His life was extended for many years because of the amazing compassionate care of Dr. Richard Goldberg & Dr. Beatriz Behar, Dr. Predrag Knez & Dr. Tatiana Knez, Dr. Michael Jacobs & Tom Larkin PA, Dr. Andrew Hall, Dr. Elizabeth Reich, Dr. Imtiaz Ather, Dr. David Amrose, Dr. Kerim Oncu, Dr. Leslie Diaz, Dr. Kenneth Fuquay and Dr. Elio Novoa.
The legacy of his smile and his love is a light that will shine on this Earth and in our hearts forever!
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Aycock- Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail Jupiter, FL 33458 from 9 am - 12 pm. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Riverside Memorial Park,19351 SE County Line Road Tequesta, FL 33469. In lieu of flowers Donations can be made to:
