Eileen T. Fagan, 75, of North Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 12, 1943 and was originally from Whitman, Massachusetts. She and the love of her life of 54 years, Joseph F. Fagan, raised their loving family in Halifax, Massachusetts where they were surrounded by a huge extended family until they relocated to North Palm Beach, Florida in 1990. Eileen wore many hats working for United Airlines, New England Telephone (where she met her husband), and volunteered for numerous organizations, but her passion for children brought her to her favorite career as a Dance Teacher working with her best friend, for Miss Waine’s School of Dance. She will be forever loved by her many students. During her 28 years in Florida she worked 13 years for Our Lady of Florida Spiritual Center. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, 3 children, 6 grandchildren and the multitude of friends that became family.
Eileen is survived by her devoted husband Joseph F. Fagan of North Palm Beach, Florida, their three children Stacey J. Tuvey of Howell, NJ; Christine (Cricket) D. Darrah (John) of Howell, NJ; and Sean P. Fagan (Andrea) of Troy, NY. She will also be missed dearly by grandchildren: Kayla R. Darrah Matthews (Kyle), Joseph W. Tuvey, Kathryn J. Tuvey, Megan E. Darrah, Kasey R. Darrah, and Stella G. Fagan.
Eileen is predeceased by her mother Ruth M. Baker of Whitman MA, her aunt, uncle and Godparents, Grace and John Hannigan, also of Whitman MA.
Eileen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends singing, dancing and in general celebrating life. She will be remembered for her sense of style, her ability to make anything beautiful, her creativity, and flare for decorating. She will be dearly missed but her legacy will live on in all the lives she touched.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
