Edith H Spencer-Daniels

Took her final step to be with God February 1, 2011 surrounded by her family.

Edith was born in Binghamton, NY to William and Ellen Hammitt. She married Clark R. Spencer in 1941 and had two daughters. In 1951 she and her family moved to Oakridge, TN where they enjoyed 10 years. In 1961 moved to Jupiter, FL where she resided until her death.

Edith is survived by two daughters Margaret S. Mosher and Annette S. Elliott Barnes; 10 grandchildren Stephanie M. M. Jones, Monica M. Fiaschi Aback (Michael), Laura M. Barfield, Morgan Mosher (Lynn), Teresa Brown (James), Robert H. Elliott, Raymond A. Elliott, Rebecca E. Pratt (Charlie); 20 great grandchildren Robert , Rebecca , and Joshua Meinhausen, Joel and Dylan Fiaschi, Emily Aback, Taylor and Madison Barfield, Dylan Bosse and Emma Mosher, Julie and Johnathan Brown, Christopher , Anthony, Randy, Kendra, Emma, and Bobby Elliott, Ava and Jordan Pratt; many near and dear nieces and nephews.

Edith did many things in her life, but the thing she was most proud of was her family and extended “family”, American Legion Post 271.

Viewing will be at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter on Sunday, February 6 from 3-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 7th at 11 AM, St. Jude Catholic Church, 204 N. US Highway One, Tequesta. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
