Earl Edwin “Pap-Pap” Nelson Of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on August 31, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 2, 1935. Earl graduated from Robert Morris Business College in Pittsburgh, PA. He served in the US Army for 6 years, 2 years active duty in Germany. Earl married his loving wife Patricia Ann Moore on March 10, 1956. He worked in Retail Management for Home Depot, West Building Materials and 84 Lumber. He was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Jupiter/Tequesta.
Earl was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He and his loving wife, Patty, shared almost 60 years of marriage. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; attending their sporting and racing events, and just hanging out with them. He was an automobile enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf.
Survived by his wife Patty, sons Earl Jr. and wife Jo, Eric and wife Amy, Ron and wife Beverly; grandchildren Pamela, Brendan, Bryce, Kevin, Cobi and Chase. Also survived by his dog Tinker. Nieces and nephews Myrene Morris, Lynn Cook and Leonard Jacklett. Predeceased by his sister Jean Jacklett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3rd from 12:30-2PM with services to start at 2PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter.
