I worked for Don for a number of years. Good engineer, good guy. Having me for an employee made me realize he could put up with a lot, but it never got him down.

In looking at the beautiful photos of Don and his family, we get a glimpse of the eternal smile that is present, not only his, but of those he is surrounded by. Ernie and I feel so fortunate to have met him and Teresa and to have experienced but a small piece of happiness he brought to all those around him. His happiness lives in our hearts and minds, where we will treasure it until we meet with him again.

Our deepest sympathies to you, Teresa, and the Lavoie family as we just learned of Don's passing. Many years since our FPL days but remember him fondly. The photos are a loving memory and tribute of a wonderful man. Sending our love and prayers.

Uncle Don truly lived a meaningful life and understood the significance of family, love, music, and nature.  I have fond memories of his wonderful sense of humor and gentle nature.  May he rest in the peace of God's loving embrace.  Love and prayers to all.

We called to wish him "Happy Birthday" today,only to find out shortly after of his passing.Don was a great friend for many years.So many great memories F.P.L.,Telluride,many Jazz performances,he even took the first pictures of our first born in the hospital.We are all lucky to have had him in our lives.Our prayers for Teresa and the family.
