Donald Anderson Jr.

Donald (Donny) Anderson Jr. of Jupiter Florida, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2023 . Don was born in 1961 in Providence Rhode Island and grew up in Stonington CT. He was the son of the late Donald Anderson Sr. and Sally Emmett Anderson.

After graduating High School in 1979, Don moved to Florida and began his successful career. Don was one of a kind and an exceptionally hard worker- known to pound nails with a hammer all day –then pay bills and work on new bids all night. His enthusiastic passion for building and working with his hands steered his life toward his love of construction, hence the beginning of the Don Anderson Construction Company.

His work initially involved the building and selling of custom homes, and then progressed to residential and commercial real estate development. Don loved flying his planes, riding his motorcycles, boating and free diving with friends throughout South Florida and the Bahamas.

In both his professional and personal life Don was willing to share all he had, everyone who knew him knew he was generous beyond words.

Don expected the best out of himself and that is what he gave to those around him. Don will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his devilsh smile. He had a zest for life that will go unmatched.

Don will be lovingly remembered by his sister Jill (Tom) Curioso, and his nieces and nephew Nichole Curioso, Thomas Curioso Jr and Rebecca (Max) Corvo.

A celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
