Denise Maria Bracco (nee De Nigris), 73, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on July 6, 2024. She was born on February 22, 1951 to Louise and Michael J. De Nigris Sr. in New York City. She married John Bracco on August 11th, 1985 in Astoria, Queens, New York City.
Denise attended St. Gabriel’s Catholic School and graduated from Newtown High School, in East Elmhurst, Queens. Denise began her career as the bookkeeper and financial controller of De Nigris Construction in Astoria Queens. There she oversaw the financial planning and execution of many large construction projects in the Tri-State area for more than a decade. Later in life, she and her husband John built a highly successful real estate firm in South Florida serving many high net worth and high-profile clients, including the Trump Organization and others.
Denise was known by her friends and business associates to be an incredibly intelligent, passionate, and talented business woman. To her husband, she was a pillar of strength and love. A loving wife who cared for and adored her husband deeply. To her family, she was our Matriarch. Our beloved Aunt “Dede” was forever pulling our family together and making sure our bonds remained strong. We know that she will continue to look over her family forever. She had a passion for giving, and her favorite charity was the Tunnels to Towers organization.
Denise is survived by her husband, John; her brother, Paul R. De Nigris and nieces and nephews, Anthony, Michael, Paul, Christine, James, and Michelle. She will be forever missed by all those who gathered around her in life, Lina Carnemolla, Janine Knox de Nigris and her grand nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her brother, Michael J De Nigris Jr.; her sister, Valerie Carnemolla and her parents, Louise and Michael J. De Nigris Sr.
Visitation will be held on July 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410, followed by burial at 12:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in honor of Denise to the Tunnel to Towers foundation.
