Daniel C. Leahy

Daniel Leahy, 65, of Jupiter, Florida, sadly passed away on June 21, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Dan was born to Francis Gerald and Kathleen in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 7 his family moved to Palm Beach County where he planted his roots and established himself as a well-respected construction superintendent for Heritage 76, always paying close attention to detail and personalizing each interaction. Dan had a strong love for Notre Dame football and all things fishing but nothing compared to the love he had for his family. Dan and Dene met when they were in their early 20s and it was love at first sight. Dan devoted himself to Dene and her three children, raising them as his own. Dan was a hardworking, honorable man who loved his family to the core. From traditional Easter egg hunts to Thanksgiving dinners you could find Dan at his grill with a smile on his face and devotion in his heart. He will be truly missed.

Dan is survived by his wife, Denette (Dene) Leahy, and three children, Al Lehman (wife Tiffany and daughters Kiersten and Sammy), Shane Lehman (wife Melissa and children, Noah, McKinley, and Parker), and April Harris (husband Chris and sons Austin and Aiden). Dan was preceded in passing by his parents and brother, Tim.

A celebration of life will be held on August 27th from 12-3pm at Blue Pointe Bar and Grille Tequesta, FL.
