lived in Carrollton Texas. She and her parents moved to Jupiter in the summer of 1989.
Cobi attended Jupiter Middle School and Jupiter High School. At Jupiter High

Society and graduated in the top ten percent of her class. She attended the
University of Florida from 1995-1997, and Florida Atlantic University from 1997-1999.
She graduated Summa Cum Laud from FAU with a Bachelor of Social Work.

and perpetrators of domestic violence.
Between January 1999 and July 2003 Cobi worked in Palm Beach County as
a Mental Health Targeted Case Manager, Behavior Intervention Specialist and
Group Counselor. Her different positions involved working almost exclusively
with children. She excelled at her job because in addition to being very
professional, she was a kind and caring person showing a great deal of empathy
