Claudette Elizabeth Cooke, age 69, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. Claudette was born April 21, 1952 in Portland, Jamaica to the late Clarence and Ida (Stampp) Murray and adopted at an early age by the late Gladstone Cooke and Ruby (King) Cooke. Claudette was a teller and also worked as a registry room clerk for the United States Postal Service. She was an active member of New Life Church pastored by Rev. Scrivner and Dolores Damon.
Claudette Cooke was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated many years of her life helping people in need and wanted to be remembered as someone who was loving and generous. She enjoyed planning gatherings such as the Murray-Cooke Family Reunion, she loved to laugh - the heartfelt reverberations of it were infectious and could be felt from a mile away. Claudette would never forget a birthday and you could always count on her to sing you a song.
Claudette was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her children Raquel, Delores, Cinceria, Erica, and Michael Cooke; her grandchildren Christopher Cooke, Chanelle Parnell, De’Vaughn Cooke, Tanzania Talbot, C’Lexia Bynes, Aniya Bynes (deceased), and three additional grandchildren; her biological brothers Wilbert, Seymour, Kitson, Frank, and Thomas Murray and adopted brother Lloyd King; and her sister Ulett Williams along with their spouses and children. She is preceded in death by her brothers Keith, Roy, and Donald Murray and sister Dorothy Murray.
Claudette Cooke will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and loved ones.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A graveside service will occur Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, FL 33469. A reception will occur Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
