Brian attended Spring Valley Senior High School (NY), Westminster Choir College (NJ), and the New England Conservatory of Music (MA).
Brian was a loving and nurturing husband, a deeply engaged and caring friend, an open-hearted, joyful and opinionated sibling, a devoted and faithful parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), and a gifted and giving performer.
His voice had truly awe-inspiring breadth and power, but he tempered and mastered it easily with a nuanced control which gave every performance a unique emotional resonance. All of this made his genuine naïveté and humility singularly remarkable. He loved a good laugh, and even a good cry. At times, he spoiled for a fight, but most who loved him knew it was generally his way of ending a disagreement, rather than starting one.
He loved Lucy and lottery tickets, traditions and trashy TV. He met every day with irrepressible optimism and enviable trust. He looked for good in the world and in people, and usually found it.
Brian was loved, and the unique gifts of love and music he left with all who knew him and many who didn't will last beyond our lives.
Brian was predeceased by his parents John Mirabile and Mary (Ryan) Mirabile, brother Paul Mirabile, and husband Rick Brann, and is survived by loving siblings, nieces and nephews. Until we meet again…
A memorial service for Brian will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
