Blanche G Sibley

Blanche Gilchrist Garb Sibley of Tequesta, FL went home to be with the Lord on February 5th, 2022. She was born in New Iberia, LA on December 12, 1947 to Sam and Blanche Gilchrist Garb. She is a graduate of Jennings High School, Jennings, LA and had a Nursing degree from Northwestern School of Nursing at Natchitoches, LA.

Blanche was married to Stephen Ray Sibley of Baton Rouge from 1968 until his death in 2017. She is survived by her children; daughter Tiffany Spenser Benson and husband Kenneth of Calion, AR, daughter Janet Sibley Crider and husband Lynn of Jupiter, FL, son Stephen Sibley, Jr. and Katherine Gilbert of Tequesta, FL, sisters Carrol Garb Peery and husband Joseph of Tulsa, OK and Tommye Garb Duncan of Sapulpa, OK.

She was a proud Granny to grandchildren Jacklin Sibley Rajan and husband D.O. Christopher of FL, Haley Crider Peterson and husband Travis of KY, Hana Gough of AR, Mariah Gough Saulsbury and husband Jase of AR and great grandchildren Blake Book and Gracelynn Peterson of KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Blanche Gilchrest Garb, brother Fain Garb and sister Fannie Garb Hall.

Blanche was strong in her Christian faith, an advid reader who loved to cook, spend time boating and playing piano. She was affectionatly known as "Junior" to all who loved her.

A visitation for Blanche will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A funeral service will occur Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. A graveside service will occur Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 2:35 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, FL 33469.
