Anna Rose Pelka

Anna Rose Pelka, 88 of Jupiter, Florida formerly of Mineola, New York entered into God’s loving arms on July 18, 2019. Anna Rose was born July 9, 1931 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY to John McDonald and Anna E. Howell .

It was in Greenpoint that she met her childhood sweetheart, William. She spoke often of her childhood in Greenpoint and her fond memories of her days at St. Anthony of Padua School. Growing up as an only child her extended family was very special to her. Anna Rose was deeply rooted in her catholic faith and for a time she taught CCD classes when she resided in Mineola, NY.

Anna Rose is survived by her daughter, Ann Michele Grenci; son in law, Frank Grenci and three grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca and Eliza, who were her greatest joys.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William J. Pelka.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Pkwy, Jupiter, FL 33458. Burial will be private.
